Beautiful sunny day yesterday when I went to pick up our daughter from first day of Grade 8. Decided to take Jasmine (mini-Poodle) as she loves going for drives in the convertible.
I stopped reading this topic after you lost Chunky and @Archer lost Raven it was all getting a bit depressing. Why wait a year? Your daughter obviously really likes the pups as do you. The best thing we did was get new dogs straight after the death of the ones we had.
I love that front-feet-on-the-console posture. I had one dog that rode around that way all the time, staring out the front window. And when I turned the car, she'd lean hard into my shoulder to keep her balance.
Beginning to think I had a new pet this afternoon, this red admiral somehow got in to the house and landed on this towel and despite my best efforts refused to leave for over an hour. Gone now thankfully.
