This my fire cat. Hunkering down to get through the current nor' easter. We are supposed to get 2 ft. In the fore ground right of the pic, you can see a pic of our Queen Bengal, India in all her royalty. She lived to be 16 and a half. She has been gone 26 months today, and yet sometimes I still expect to see her curled up on our bed in the master bedroom when I get home and flick on the lights. The more they become a part of us, make us smile, and become a bigger and bigger part of the family the more they are missed. Hang in there @Larry S. You aren't alone and the missing them and the hurt will never go away completely. But, that is because we loved them so much and they gave our families so much more. To Banzai and my Lady Bengal. If there is a Heaven, our pets are already there. McK
Our oldest kitty, Xena the Warrior Princess. She just turned 16. Dreaming of the last squirrel.... Uh.... I mean bird she laid at our doorstep.
Darwin, right on the coast. Have a couple hundred meters of coastal reserve straight across the road but can certainly hear the surf at the moment.
Seems like only yesterday that the wee bundle came in to our lives, and here he is a big three years old today
Does this pose look a little similar @mydeafcat?? Saw him like this as I walked passed and had to grab my phone to capture it. I immediately thought of your cat and avatar. Update/Edit: My wife texted me shortly after I posted this that it was 5 years ago today that we adopted McKinley from the local animal shelter. I would have to say, he such a good cat, he may well be the best $80 I ever spent.
I'd say so! Lovely! Admittedly, we haven't adopted another one since Tommy passed in 2012. It was - and still is - tough. Almost there, though. (Re: your update. $80? Such a deal!)
