Banzai 9.15.2002 - 3.10.2018 crossed the bridge this morning surrounded by his family. He was the best dog. Didn’t get the Shiba memo about being afraid of water and not obeying rules. We are going to miss him terribly ... he will live on as my Avatar. The rabbits in doggie heaven better be ready to run.
@Larry S Been there, I’m very sorry to hear. I’m sure your family gave Bonzai a fantastic life. There are no other words I can say, very sorry.
He lived the life of Riley. Worlds most spoiled dog. Almost made it to 16 .. total clown prince and hunter extraordinaire. He was really suffering in the end so it was a mitzvah to free him. Doesn’t make it any easier though.
@Larry S so sorry to hear about your loss. I’m sure he is tearing up the fields and enjoying tons of rabbits. Thinking of you and your family
So sad for you and your wife. Im sure you gave him an amazing life - and Im sure he gave back tenfold. Courage l’ami
Never nice loosing a friend to the end after so long. Condolences to you. Have a old fella myself that will be like loosing my shadow when the time comes.
Two Martinis, Alt J and Allison Krause... just had a good cry ... thanks for all your thoughts ... We just could not let him suffer anymore .. our little wolf .. my mini me. A man gets at least one good dog. He was the best but I was lucky to have two .. love you both Beeze and Snicks. Hope you are together now.
Our Sheltland Sheepdog “Snickers” passed away after 16 years, on the day my son was leaving for college Aug 2016. Still haven’t had the heart to get another dog.
We understand how you feel. Our boy is 151/2, we know he will be leaving us soon. They give so much and demand so little. Bob, Sandra & "Fado" the PWD
Jesus I'm sorry Larry. Take comfort in each other. My two girls a shih tzu and Goldie at 8 and 6 respectively. Wife and I cannot imagine the day when they go. I'll go absolutely bonkers. My heart goes out to you. Take care.
The month of March and the old boy finding it a bit warm today, it was glorious for only a couple of hours unfortunately.
