You should take comfort in the g👍reat life you gave him and all your efforts at the end. I had a similar experience with a cat who lived 25 years with me. It’s so weird when they are just not there anymore but we all have an unknown expiration date stamped on us. My condolences very sad indeed
More or less everywhere we've been over the past 10 years, he's been with us.
We even saw him overcome his fear of balloons and burst his mummy's 60th birthday balloons last October, it was funny.
This is the first time we've been without a furry friend since our 20 ginger tom died in 2013.

For some reason whenever Polo picked up a stick to play with, he always moved it away from the track/trail afterwards ???

They can pick up wood 10 times their own length and never grab them in the middle 😀

The forecast was steady rain all weekend, but this morning the snow started coming down. Not great news for the trees that have already leafed out, but it was an unexpected treat for Max.

I've played a few times, but not on that course, TBH. It is a nine-hole course, and each hole has two options, a red and yellow basket. I think it's basically a longer and a short option. In that photo, you can see one of the baskets for the first hole, and both for the ninth hole.

Rocky raccoon found a new vocal range. He has already been a loud little bastard but I’m seriously talking human level screaming. Here we are arguing about catnip portions. The bastard actually gets me out of REM sleep with this nonsense edit: we have trouble closing doors at our place. Rocky needs free access at all times to every room and screams at an ear piercing level outside of closed doors. He has issues

One of my boys was much the same, I could never really fathom out how they managed 🤔

Although we have never had a cat in the family I really do love them, many years ago I was sitting on the tail gait of my vehicle waiting on a customer come home when this cat came and jumped up beside me and quickly moved in for a cuddle which I loved.
Turned out it was the customers cat 🥰

I think most of us are cat and dog lovers. I’d love to have a dog but I don’t think I’m around enough to properly care for a doggo. Cats fare a bit better alone for 8-12 hours or even 1 overnight in emergency situations.

One of my favorite animal times in life was having a faithful German Shepard and two cats. Amazing how well they got along. I hope life allows me a chance for another dog/cat pairing.
