·I was just watching Jon Stewart on (again) the Daily Show, and he was memorializing a shelter dog he had gotten 12 yrs ago. It was a pitbull with 3 legs. Poor guy started crying before he finished his first sentence. He finally got through the story. Loss is part of life, to be sure, but it's the most difficult part. Just thinking about it is a little emotional. Give your buddies an extra treat tonight.

·Old boy paid a visit to the home office today just after some ear treatment and a head wash (don’t ask :0) we seem to be keeping the nose up and he is doing even better this week. Maybe chasing the mouse Molverine bought in perked him up. We did not think he would make this year and now paws crossed we think he could see another summer. He loves the better weather so hopefully…

·I've had people tell me that dog crates are cruel, but Daps loves her crate and often chooses it over the sofa. The door stays open 24/7.
