Old boy is getting a bit more clingier in his old age. Still, it makes for a handy clothes warmer. The last vet trip confirmed despite all efforts he is slowly losing weight ... but he keeps punching and if we can get to summer that should give him a boost. He and lady Molverine have a on/off relationship (mostly off :0) which helps keep him on his paws a bit.

He / she is not a pet: our wildcat has returned after one year! He/she lets me get within less than a meter (2 ft.) which is quite rare..
Waiting at the pool.

Young Molverine might be Queen of the stairs (thou shall not pass ;0) … but old boy keeps the high ground and remains King of the Kitchen (also his bedroom ;0)

Molly was happy in the sunshine this morning… not knowing I was on paw patrol and dog sitting today. He had envious eyes for The speedy but was a very well behaved hound. On my return h the Molverine was less than impressed/ she hates dogs. Maybe a puppy would work to ease her into it (she had a bad experience before we took her on). Old boy does not mind dogs as long as they behave.

So Molverine brought a friend home (live mouse) last night. I think she was worried it was too cold for it (ok maybe not). Apparently Old Boy turned into a young panther again and had to be confined to quarters. He can still show her a trick or two when he gets a burst of enthusiasm. The little fella is back in the wild and hopefully keeping’s its head down. I don’t think I will be going into mouse trap manufacturing……….

Ha ha good seeing everyone’s animals doing well. I was worried about Rockies transition to a dog, I mean house cat, as we changed residence. I was also away for 3 weeks which I know throws them off.

When I first got back he kinda ignored me which Harry used to do, I guess it’s kind of a punishment put one day he jumped on my lap and is my buddy again. His house cat transition went much better than I thought. He started playing with his toys more and is putting on a little weight but nothing crazy. I’m sure there was a lot of stress for him the first few weeks. I disappeared and although my wife likes him she isn’t a lifelong cat person like myself. When he gets out in the hallway of the condo unit (we have to pay an extra 20 dollars a month for him which isn’t bad) the girls think he is a handsome fellow and give him plenty of attention.
So rocky raccoon is adapting well to his new surroundings. In a few months we will probably move again, was going to be sooner but I have some things pop up. At least I know he can roll with the changes.
