It’s hard for me to get a photo of the brothers trolling the neighbors dog. Here is a cropped blurry photo of Maharishi Yogi sitting on the fence and if the dog tries to get a hold of him doggy gets seven claws to the nose. This is a barrel chested dog who probably is five times the weight of Maharishi so if he screws up is timing this could go South fast but they both seem to enjoy this activity.

Highly likely I may may have posted this image in the past ?

My dearly departed old pal on one of our many tours of Europe 🥰 Never a day goes by without us talking about him and what a wonderful friend he was.

I remember that photo as I asked you about the bridge. It’s a great picture in general your old pal looks so content.

Talking about a favorite box…….

He is destroying his home! Do you put catnip in there? When I do that the brothers make quick work of the box

No catnip is involved and we replace the two boxes when we they fall apart. It saves furniture though……

Don’t Bogart that scratch pad my friend, pass it over to me…
I have two scratch pads and I have to dole out the cat drug quickly as serious fights break out over this stuff. I think there is a decent shot of Maharishi yogis nails in this crop, i snipped his brothers but Maharishi really puts up a battle at the nail clipping time. He kinda needs them to beat up my neighbors dog anyway

Thought I'd introduce my terrible twosome - Mesdames Poppy & Lexi.

Both girls are rescues from the branch of Cats Protection that I used to volunteer for. Poppy (tortie), was an unwanted kitten, and I've had her since she was three and a half months old. She'll be 14 in September. Lexi (blue & white) came to me as a young adult (~18 months), one of 42 cats that we removed from one house. She'll be 11 in a couple of weeks.

Very similar! Is yours a Russian Blue?
Hard to say I got them at a rescue as u can see Maharishi has the more triangular face but his brother has the round face more typical to Russian blues

That’s cool how long did you do the rescue. When I got the brothers from the rescue they cost me 250 each but they were neutered and vaxxed so in reality it’s probably a little cheaper to get them through a rescue. I was also deeply appreciative to the volunteers working the shelter. They were caring for cats missing legs and eyes and cancer. I really wanted a white fluffy cat but I saw the brothers together in a small cage and I could tell they were brimming with energy and although well cared for I knew they didn’t belong caged. When they saw me take the brothers out of the cage they asked me if I could volunteer to which I would have loved to but the rescue is an hour from my place and my work schedule makes it to difficult but I won’t rule it out in the future. Too many people got animals during the pandemic they are dropping off at rescues. I’m sure they had good intent doesn’t make them bad people I just don’t think they thought it through all the way. Same with dogs they have a sister shelter with adult dogs I really wanted to get one but it would have been alone for 9hrs a day which I don’t think is fair to a new dog in a house. It is was a tough decision but it was Maharishi starring at me through his cage the entire hour I was there that sealed the deal. He just spent two days with me when I was at the height of my Covid which I appreciate.
