Out of the entire house this I would have thought would be one of the most uncomfortable spots for a snooze 🤔

Alpha I just wanted u to know I had to defend your honor the other day. My coworker got approved for loan for her first home. I just hooked her up with loan officers and realtors I know nothing special but her main excitement is being able to buy a puppy as she has always rented and has not had a landlord that allows animals.
Anyway I was thinking of cute pups and (hope you don’t mind) I sent her a picture of yours. Of course she said “what a cute puppy” but then dared add “the dogs head is shaped like an egg.” I could not stand for such an insult and told her “your head is shaped like a watermelon.” (It isn’t she is actually rather attractive) but I will not stand for such blatant insults to your doggo. Your welcome.

I put it off for a few days the unenviable task of cleaning hairys stuff she stopped eating the last couple days so I tried various foods and tinctures skx will help me with the kinda sad task edit: ha ha kind of funny I took hairys box which was in the middle of our dining room and asked my wife to put it out with the recycle. It was just a cardboard box hairy used as her testing spot. I just found it and got a bit upset as it’s too much of a reminder. I asked my wife why she didn’t put it out she said “I tried but it seems to soon made me sad.” Hairy used to swat my wife if we were too close but it seems she is quite disappointed as well.

You are making me nostaligiac. Two of my dear departed friends, Rosie and Piper, on South Arapahoe Peak in June 2004.

Great memory to cherish!

Neo's best friend (boxer too) has been diagnosed with brain tumor 🙁

She is only 6 months older than him, 11 yo, and full of life...

A couple of weeks ago, another friend of his (golden retriever) died as well of cancer, 10 yo.

You can feel that his generation is coming to a closure, and it makes me nervous.

He needs to stay a few more years 😀 ... 3 more at least 😉

13 years ago and enjoying walking Mam Tor https://www.visitpeakdistrict.com/t...mam-tor-the-great-ridge-walking-route-p678311 with my dearly departed pal. Sadly others are also going through such a loss but I am sure we all have many wonderful memories to cling to 🥰

We're (Polo, wife and me) are off to Chapel en le Frith today for 5 days.
I'm not sure whether we'll get up Mam Tor or Jacob's Ladder as it's been 16 years since going up either but I'd like to.
Polo hasn't been to the Peaks yet.
I'll bet the pic of your dear departed friend tugs at the heart strings??
Getting to the top of popular peaks like that one there's always loads of mans best friend about keen to get going😉

Because Polo came from a rescue home in Wales but was originally from Kent we doubt he'd been to the lake district before.
This was his first holiday in the lake district up on Barrow fell.
As can happen in the lakes the day before had been beautiful up Cat Bells.
Anyway as far as Polo is concerned walk is a walk.

I’m glad ur furry friend made it. Those vet bills especially from the specialists and ER can be shocking. I was a bit out of touch I was fortunate to have a cat live 25 years with nothing but yearly checkups until the end. Then her partner got very sick and I tried everything for a month plus. I’m not a rich guy but fortunately I was able to do it. What troubles me about the whole thing is the numerous people I know who have trouble putting food on the table but have a pet that means the world to them what the hec are they supposed to do.

They can’t spend the night at the vet and leave with a 1,400 bill. Well it’s not like they let u leave with a bill you are paying before you go. The past month and a half was a real eye opener for me in that regard. I’m glad your kitty made it through he/she is probably just mad you had his kitty body poked and prodded he will forgive u soon enough.

Yah, I'm lucky enough that my wife is a vet tech. So we get a lot of care for a discount at her office or we wouldn't be able to afford as many animals as we have. We do get a small discount at the emergency clinic for her being in the industry but it only helps so much for sure. Still a shot to the wallet when you have to go there, especially when every doctor who lays a hand on the pet gets their cut which can escalate quickly.

As for his face, he always looks mad .. lol. Resting cat face. *grin*

Wow sorry to hear all that. Just enjoy the now it’s really tough losing these friends but they aren’t worrying about tomorrow you shouldn’t either. I know that’s easier said than done.

Wow I got the letter from the vet, similar style as when sooper dooper went but they got much more personal with this. I put on my temporary hairy memorial watch and opened the letter I even have hairys paw prints. Maybe it was all the money I spent or the extended effort both they and I went through to save her.

On Eccles Pike in the Peaks then a pub beer garden after he'd decided "mud, mud, glorious mud" was the way to go.
The brown on his face is sun tan cream mixed with muck.
