Pup visiting for a sleepover and showing off his certificate from the training class.
How times have changed, I always trained my own dogs as did most unless you were in to shooting and then if you were lucky you may know a good keeper who would help you out.

All said and done this is one sharp wee dog although he doesn't realise he is small 👍

Writing his name on the beach in 2014

If I lived next door to you I would be yelling out Marco a lot… 😁😁😁

I got a bit happy today when I saw hairy in one of her old hunting spots. She would catch mouse in this area but now that she is sick she doesn’t do much outdoors. I tried to sneak up on her to catch a hunting photo only to find she had fallen asleep and when she noticed me she came over for a patting. We all mellow out with age and infirmities no matter what species we are

A visit to the vet with my wee boy this afternoon, we have noticed a couple of lumps on his chest and rear end which we wanted checked out and his teeth were due a clean up and as usual our vet was his professional self.
Checked over and we are going back soon at a cost of £800 G.B.P. to which I have no concerns as our vet is truly professional and I love my wee boy but the cost brought home to me the many loving pet owners who are not so fortunate and may not be able to raise such cash.
Here in the UK we are fortunate to have the https://www.pdsa.org.uk/ which do amazing work along with other charities but unfortunately they can't reach everyone and many do not want to accept what they see as charity.
How fortunate we are.

Bumped into a couple of old timers today on my ramble.
One has a medical collar warning no food - getting on now and needs a special diet at home only.
The other is an old boy who lost his tail and is getting the old cat thin hindquarters look… but still has his evening patrol.
Both were super confident and super friendly. Really pleased someone was giving them the time of day and saying hello. They are all good cats :0). They keep going despite age and illness the best they can.
