I'm so sorry to hear this. I've never really been a cat person, but I just have to say that imo Hairy has more charisma than any cat I have ever seen. I hope things go OK with you both for now, not forgetting Sooper too.
Hey thanks very nice of u to say but in actuality if she does have this rare audiogenic seizures it is better than the original diagnoses which was “brain mass on the left side of her brain.” That would have been game over. Certain sounds really bother her and she does this weird body twitch. It actually looks kind of cute, but I was opening a bag of cat treats and the body twitchy went into high gear which lead to her falling over and having and grand mal seizure. (Spelling?). Yet I play guitar or music and she actually comes into listen so it’s certain sounds I need to watch out for and just be cautious.
The vet gave me a crash course on how intense cats kidneys operate (I didn’t understand most of what he said) but after the seizure tests I got kidney tests done for her and they put her at pre stage 1 kidney disease. So he went from damn near ready to put her down to “monitor”.
She really is quite different personality wise than many cats I’ve had. I drove to another state to see my mother today and my wife said hairy spent almost the entire 8 hrs I was gone at the door waiting for me. So it started out sounding pretty bad, it possibly may still be, but things are looking much better after I spent a Tudor watch on tests for her.
She is worth it though, a watch is a watch, a furry friend is priceless.

This is a priceless memento of Rosie, my favorite dog of all time. As a puppy, she somehow identified this book to chew on.

And now she has purchased this little stair arrangement to hep him on to the sofa 🤦
I was obviously born in a different age but one of the first things you did with a pup was to teach it not to jump on the furniture 🙁

Went out to run a few errands last night. We normally close the upstairs doors as we don’t know what they will get into but this was just going to be a few minutes.

My neighbor put up the big “I’m a tough guy bark” when I got home but I picked up some doggy treats as soon as I give him one he drops the tough guy stuff and wants to play. Of course when I get in the house hairy is mad cause she smells buddy the dog and knows I’ve been cheating

Young girl breached an outer perimeter (well it was raining). We aim not to feed her too much as she is ‘relocated’ but she keeps trying to move back….if old boy would stop being jealous we could take her full time…. But for now she had the ‘tube of treats’ and still managed to empty it as she is quick-draw McPaw. Old boy looked on and is like ‘whatever…. When is my salmon being plated :0).

I fully appreciate that we all have our own opinions and having been fortunate to have had many four legged friends over the years this is the first time with a little pressure from the dearly beloved that we have my pals ashes with us and to be honest I do feel a comfort.

Our indoor only cat was gone all day yesterday for teeth cleaning (unfortunately, he will need to go back for extractions.) Here's some unusual activity from this morning:

As we approach the full moon I do see a change in the local cats and Old Boy and Young Girl change their routine. They seem to be tolerating each other a bit more as well, but seeing them Friday evening I am still not sure it is the look of love between them in the garden. Young Girl still comes into an outbuilding on occasion but no-way he will let her in the house.... Also I think the mice in the outbuilding might be on drugs :0)

Hairy getting into the summer sprawl, getting out of the winter ball. As the temp increases she will do those weird extensions making her look like two cats stuck together
