It has been a good but busy month with some sunshine in between the storms. Old Boy had his weigh in yesterday morning and from a low point before Xmas he has now put nearly a kg back on - so hopefully he is back on track ready for another summer. Little and often (and lots of vartiation) seems to be the solution for him currently.

Ah yes that leaping ability, so essential if you are a chihuahua who fancies a whippet girlfriend. Long, long ago our whippet found a terrier with leaping ability. Whippet + Terrier -> Fast + Furious 😎

Well, I have been missing out by dithering over my 1,000th post. Should it be my Grande Complication (yeah, right)? Or how about my essay on the shifting role and status of the mechanical watch in the past four decades? Maybe my insightful commentary on just where all these experts have been getting it wrong? Hmmm...

Yep, none of the above. My commemorative post is not going to be about watches, it's going right here - on a thread I never knew would be on the Omega Forum, and which has helped bring me through the dark times. Thank you Sandy, thank you Neo, thank you Hairy, thanks Zelda and Remi and the Old Boy, and to all of the other wonderful animals and the humans they have allowed to photograph and post about them.
🥰

So from both the best friend and me, thanks and best wishes to the whole Forum (you know who you are), and here's to the next millennium. 👍
Tim... and Bruce.

Ha ha those are great dog shots. I was able to get in an ice hike today and a girl was walking two dogs. I was able to play with them quite a bit,

I think this is the best super dooper has looked in a while. Gave her a hefty IV and a lot of brushing and plucking she may be 112 or so in human years but she is looking a svelte 55 today

I have still been fraternising (not too much) as I seem to be the only one who retained a AAA pass for full belly grooming … and she was getting knotted. It has taken a few days but she is now knot free. I am sticking to the no feeding and no in the 'house', so she still heads back to her new home… we are just visited as the salon now I guess - Old boy remains unimpressed....
