The wee boy sunning himself this evening, good opportunity for @STANDY to comment on the lack of maintenance the bench is suffering 馃槈
This retirement does keep me pretty busy you know 馃榾

He's not allowed on the lounge unless the boss is away and he knows it, she,s been gone a few hours and this is where he is 2seconds after getting out of bed.

CAUTION, way too many photographs ahead most including a Beagle but no watches 馃槈

One of the many joys of retirement is being able to head off when the inclination takes you as it did earlier today with a visit to the 'Scottish Korean War Memorial' followed by a walk in the hills with the wee boy.

I did warn you about the number of images 馃う

The more images the better! And it is "National Pet" day according to the interwebs.

Here's my one photo for National Pet day

National pet day is not until August here in Australia but yesterday I signed the adoption papers for this gorgeous chap.

He is one of the tallest Labs I have ever seen and at 11 months old, we are getting a 30 Kg puppy !!!
He doesn't have a sad story behind him, despite coming from a rescue place. His owner surrendered him because of his work commitments and the fact that he will be moving oversees later this year. We are picking him up on Monday so we had better make sure that we have eaten the Easter eggs before then.

What a beautiful boy, looking forward to many more pics.

My best walking buddy turned eight yesterday. Unfortunately this will most likely be his last. His poor heart is about to give out. The vet gave him about three months a month ago. Will just love him and make sure he is comfortable till the end.
Sorry to hear that buddy. Dogs are like your children and become part of you.
Make sure you stay with him at the end , it hurts but I always think you owe it to them.
