··Omega Qualified WatchmakerOur female Whippet Maeve is somewhat obsessed with any bugs or flies being on her while we walk. She had a few bites from the deer flies so it’s not without good reason. She is always turning around to make sure there’s nothing on her bum.
The cicadas are starting to die off here and the other day there was a dead one on the sidewalk laying belly up. She got close to take a sniff, but got too close. The curled up legs ended up catching on her nose, and when she pulled away it was stuck to her face. Panic ensued and some frantic head shaking and general jumping around like she was getting an electric shock. It came off quickly, but it was hilarious...😁

·Monday was another beach hike day for Neo... he LOVES the beaches 😀
We walked from De Haan to Ostende. Once in Ostende, we need to take a small boat to cross on the other side of the city to get back by tram to De Haan again.

I have known of these dams for many years but having now seen some images it is way up on my places to visit 👍
Edited to add for any who wonder what is on the roof of the car ? A roof box fits to these inflated rails and daughters rate it highly, obviously with the amount of kit they carry 🤦
