Are they all Maine coons? Not sure about mine.

Mine has a large % Norwegian forest cat (as did his sadly departed brother). I guess that is why he hates winter so much! maybe most Norwegians would really like Winter in the Maldives (as most of us would in the UK :0)
Not sure about his lady crush. She is a rescue cat so I think a mixed breed. She has very soft fur and delicate whiskers, like silk. I will chat to her owners and see if they know more. She has a brother but he is very shy.

Ended up with a photo shoot for his on/off (mostly off) crush yesterday. Not to get overly anthropomorphic (humming Duran Duran tracks) but she does love the camera. He has made it clear a modeling career is not on his bucket list / he is less than impressed and stayed aloof and cool in the kitchen :0)....
.

Impressive set of whiskers he has got there.

He is a she....but I think impressive whiskers is always a compliment in Cat Land. The old boy also has a nice set but a bit thin with age, and black whiskers on a black cat are not always so camera friendly.

All these cats are gorgeous, pity I'm allergic to them... Even more pity as Neo wouldn't mind a little brother or sister, he did "save" (found 2 kitten in our street) a few years ago.

One of them is with obe of our best friends, and Neo and him (Nutmeg) still see eachother from time to time, and both are at ease.
This was the first night, Neo found him under a car. The poor thing was all dirty, and probably only a few weeks old.

He stayed with us like a week or so, and they were always together.
This was like a year after he had left our house to his new forever home, during one of our visit.

Nice story and photos - lovely looking cat as well. Hopefully neutering and care programmes will reduce the number of animals which end up in the street like that / good you and Nero helped them.

And still in total lockdown🙁

Do you think you could take the lid off for me?

I am sure that there is a big wide world out there.

Well, that's the belly button clean😀

Lots of this.

What? I'm helping with the dishes. Nothing else to do!

Even Tommy is bored.

Ziggy helping stock the fridge😉

I think this is what they call casual dining.

Really.

I think that you are in my personal space.

Not a great picture but I was meeting with someone in this very nice trail area and out of nowhere a very well fed doggy came running full speed down the trail and splashed into the stream beneath us. He looked up at us and started barking with a desperate look on his face. He needed sticks. So for five minutes we threw him sticks he could chase in the water. If only I could have got a picture of him begging for sticks as it was a sight to see. The owner soon caught up to him and apologized for the dog. The owner explained he is normally the “goodest boy” but gets overly rambunctious around streams and lakes.

Gee poor sooper dooper got the whole treatment today, liquid meds, IV, topped of with a nice dose of B-12. She will probably avoid me for a while.

Hairy got this weird thing about boxes. Whenever I put one down she needs to get as close as she can to it and curls up to sleep. So I’ve been getting a lot of deliveries as I have these endless little home improvements going on I take the boxes, try to make a different pattern and see how long it takes her to make it a home. This morning I made this configuration and within five minutes she utilized it. She must hear me setting these up as she was upstairs and I was literally trying to be as quiet as possible. This cat has a box fetish and I am encouraging it. Now I’ll probably leave this in the middle of a heavily travelled room just because she likes it. I really am crazy.

I think I mentioned the evil one (the nemisis for all local cats / the bear cat)... has relocated to a new home.... Looks like word has spread and the old boy was out front to read the papers for the first time in years today... and felt obliged to reply in the comments section. If cats could do a high five and say happy days I think a few here would (Having said all that the evil one was an impressive beast who ruled the neigbourhood with an iron paw in all weathers with a wide territory)... if anyone will make a long trip back he willl, so they better make hay / relax while the sun shines

The squad waiting for their donut

If they work together, they could take that table for a ride!
