Zelda is on the mend. The vet drained and cleaned out the ear flap and sutured it closed very thoroughly to ensure that it doesn't fill up again. They left some holes for drainage, which stopped after a few days. The sutures need to stay in place for a few weeks, but apparently this procedure is very effective. As you can see, she's an amazing patient, and tolerates absolutely anything. No Elizabethan collar needed, let's go for a walk, Dad! I don't know if she'll hold that ear up again, so now she'll be a flop-eared, snaggletoothed, gray-face.
