Well, I went and had a look at the pooch today. What a beautiful little boy😀
I would like to thank all on the forum who tried to talk me out of it, which was, well precisely zero. Unlike my wife who tried very hard.
It appears that we are not only watch enablers.

Time to meet the newest member of the Mad family young Beau.
Settling in well and working hard to win over his opposition😉

getting a grip on his new surroundings

Got a ball, happy pup

And likes playing in his water.

It might take Bonnie a while to warm to him if he keeps eating his food

Great new additions to the OF pet family, so congratulations to the new furry and human parents!

We enjoyed the spring weather last week in the Belgian Ardennes for a few days, walking around with Neo.

Still amazed by his handsome tail. It is almost like he is a different breed.

Irish cat girdle...😁

👍

First dog was named Guinness. Great dog, great beer, great girdle.

The store I bought my beer from in Washington DC gave me this sign. He said I was about the only guy who bought Guinness and asked if I wanted it. Thirty years later, still have it.

I am of great interest to the higher beings. It’s feeding time and they are wondering why I’m screwing around with the weird thing I always look at rather than break out the can of food. As you can see hairy is bothered by super dooper not respecting her personal space. I know this sounds weird but hairy started making a noise that sounds like a dog bark. Not as loud of course. Just started last week and now she is doing it regularly. The first time she did it I freaked out a bit so I’m guessing she liked my reaction and is doing it more often now. It could be paranoia on my part but I’m pretty sure she likes to freak me out when possible.

@Barking mad ... You knew it was foretold! Congrats on the new edition. Would like to see Bonnie’s face watching the new arrival. I’m sure he will find creative ways to indoctrinate the kid.

That’s cool probably collectable to. I worked at a bar when I was in school people were always trying to steal or buy those things. I gave up full time drinking years ago but once or twice a year I still have a Guinness. I actually enjoy them more now as opposed to the days I would knock back a case. Oh shoot I need a cat pic this isn’t a beer thread. Here is a blurry one I tried to catch hairy cleaning

She's still trying new stuff to train you. Must be a slow learner. 😉

Wait till she starts dropping heavy objects on your head in your sleep.

The pup is just over 4 months old, fully vaccinated and has had his first visit to doggy daycare. The daycare updates their social medial accounts quite frequently with photos and videos and it seems like the little guy had a great time 😀

Damn doggy day care. Reminds me of my failed career as a cat herder. I hope your dog doesn’t go overboard with the social media and becomes one of those, “famous for being famous” beings.
