Thank you, and we always have tendency to go abroad to find amazing landscapes when often some beautiful ones are nearby.

I must say that it is one of the positive from the several lockdowns, we have discovered many great walking spots in Belgium.

As from my gear, it is my mobile phone, Mi 9T pro with Pixel Experience custom ROM, and the Gcam app 8.1 ... I can be geek indeed

Just want to relate this tale. I have a buddy who was well known in the boxing world at one point. We just became friendly on a boxing forum, eventually he let me know who he was and saw one of my posts that I was going to attend a Golvkin fight in my state that he was involved in and sent me a request for a meet up. For the record I don’t know many famous people and I’m not at that level but we stay in touch. He called me out of the blue last night Crying like a baby. Turns out he had found his 17 year old cat had passed away when he got up yesterday. He remembered my cat Baxter recently passed so wanted to talk to someone who recently went through it. He was saying similar things all of us say here when we lose a pet. And I said to him similar things you guys said to me when I mentioned Baxter passing. Main thing is I’m glad he called as he was in a bad way but it just shows you that link we have no matter what your status in life is. Despite having several houses around the world he said he’d give all that away if he could have his kitty back. I don’t think those were just words as he was born very poor and yeah he enjoys the good life but he never forgot his roots. Kinda stuck with me today and I’m sure there is a lesson in there but in reality he is just a buddy who’s pet passed away and he is grieving. We made plans to talk again Saturday he wants to get a kitten but wants to wait a while to show respect to his recently passed feline. I understand that thought process. He was asking me how long it took to get over losing Baxter I told him I will let him know when I get there but that initial intense sadness passes but it’s not like there is a chart written that explains exactly how long each person takes to grieve.

Beautiful. What kind of cat is that Siamese? I’d really like pure bread cat someday but I always end up with rescue mutt cats.

Outside the family, Zelda only has a few dog friends, and Max is the one she likes the most. He's a pit-bull mix who lives up the street, about a year old and a total sweetie.

He was a wild puppy, and he's calming down now, but still a bit exuberant and sometimes tries to play with her by whacking her with his paw. She'll give him a little growl and then he just licks and licks her face. Similarly, he will try to jump up on me when he greets me. But if I tell him "uh uh", he'll lie on his back and ask for a belly rub. Very smart and a good boy.

Pit-bulls and pit-bull mixes are great dogs....incredibly loving and affectionate. They all think they are pups or small lap dogs....happiest sitting in your lap, even if they are ninety pounds.

Quite different from their reputation, they are very highly rated as a “family dog”. Back in the day, they were known as the “nanny dog”.

We have a pit-bull mix, Fergus. Most loving dog we have ever had. He has only one “bad” habit. He loves to jump up on visitors. Interesting, however, never with older people. He seems to know they aren’t steady on their feet. He is just as affectionate with them, but respects their advanced years.

My wife’s mother came to live with us years ago. Fergus looked after her like a caregiver. He would sit with her every night watching TV. And watch over her when she fell asleep on the couch. He would sleep on her bed with her at night. After my mother-in-law died, Fergus would not come in the family room and sit on the couch when we watch TV. He would, however, lay on her bed for hours.

    Wonderful dog.

    Thank you !, he's a Oriental Shorthair https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriental_Shorthair
Funnily enough I want to adopt a cat from the shelter someday, he's still going strong at 11 though so hopefully it's still years off for me.

It's more his comfy bed than mine these days ::bleh::
