Adios Capt Flint. Glad it wasn't drawn out.

Our boys are older and the subzero temps were not inviting to go outside to do their business, so they begrudgingly allowed us to put the boots on them.

unpleasant evening, my wife and I were watching a moving and suddenly our poor old cockatiel had what appeared to be a series of strokes, one side of his body refusing to work pretty early in the process. Thankfully it didn't take too long so he didn't suffer for long. but the little guy is gone now. Too bad as he was quite the member of the family.

Bye Capt.Flint.
My sincere sympathies.

Sorry, always hurts when you loose a family member.

@Fritz, sorry to hear about Capt. Flint. I Ioved Treasure Island as a kid. Buy a replacement soon before you miss him. We lost 2 dogs and recently bought a replacement. @Alpha gave some very helpful advice and a shove in the right direction 😉.

@Fritz - my condolences. I've always had cats so I have never felt the pain of losing a canine friend.

My 3 amigos, 3-18 years of age. Unfortunately don't see them often any more now that I've moved out of my parent's house. 👎

I love cats as well. But Captain Flint was a parrot! You've obviously not read Treasure Island....

What is the attraction of jumping up and walking along walls and expecting a treat ?

For those of you whose friends shed more than an enjoyable amount I suggest you look into getting a "Furminator". It truly works wonders to minimize shedding. However the pups don't necessarily enjoy it. And I had to vacuum after the fact.

Here two of them are huddling together in fear of the retched Furminator🤨

Here is another great piece of kit, clips on to the hose of a Dyson and when you press with your finger the bristles drop down, release and the hair goes straight in to the collection drum.
My boys actually love being brushed with it 😀

Memo to self, time I gave that a wash 🙁
