Empty bowl + full belly = one happy old Beagle 😁

I am convinced he reckons Christmas is especially for him,

that can't end well but may not end as some expect.

My cousin had a kestrel which they found injured on the highway, after spending a bundle at the vets and nursing it back to health the poor little bugger was unable to fly and so couldn't be released. It quickly became a member of the family and was of great interest to the family cat. The kestrel used to sit on the back of an old kitchen chair placed near the front window so it could watch the world go by, the cat sat on the seat of the chair watching the kestrel. One day puss finally got up the nerve to paw at the kestrel.

Thereafter, my cousin spent quite a while trying to talk the cat out from under the bed.

A family friend once owned a budgerigar which they had taught to say "here kitty" which was funny as hell until the cat came.

unpleasant evening, my wife and I were watching a moving and suddenly our poor old cockatiel had what appeared to be a series of strokes, one side of his body refusing to work pretty early in the process. Thankfully it didn't take too long so he didn't suffer for long. but the little guy is gone now. Too bad as he was quite the member of the family.

Bye Capt.Flint.
