Jax gave me "the look" when I asked if I could have my Aerospace back.

Isn't it amazing that all these years ago the stonemasons thought to build in some steps just for a Beagle 😉

Big day today for Raven, our oldest Whippet. She had a bit of an episode in December, suddenly going lame on the right side, so after seeing our local vet he wanted us to see some specialists, so off early this morning for a drive to Toronto to see a neurologist and then a cardiologist. Started out before it was light, and since we both came to the appointment and could not leave one dog at home, they both came with us:

They both hate the car, so Raven (the subject dog) panted bad dog breath in the car the whole way, and we drugged Remi up with a tranquilizer so he would sleep and not puke everywhere in the car. It's been warm here so with the ground still being pretty cold, we had some fog for sure:

Couple of hours later and we made it to the clinic - Raven still panting:

Saw the neurologist first, and it was stressful for them both, so while we were back in the waiting room after that they both decided it was time to snooze:

Now in with the cardiologist, and Remi seems to want in on the action:

Where did they take Raven?

Okay I guess I'll find a spot to sleep, and stay out of sight as much as I can...

Okay all the tests are done and on the way home - time for another nap:

Overall things look good, so hopefully she will make a full recovery and we won't have any other episodes. So 2 hours down, 4+ hours at the vet, and 2 hours back - we were all tired by the time it was over!

Cheers, Al

Finally get why Remi is so whacked when I take him for a walk...jumps, spins, lunges all over the place. Looks like he has been into Tony's stash...

Bingo!
