·Thanks - we have seriously considered going raw, as a few friends we know have done it with good results. The only thing that bothers me is the potential for a bacterial infection of some kind from raw food. Maeve our younger dog could probably handle it, but Remi would not likely do very well with such a thing.
Neo loves chicken and we were also stressed about bacterias, things like salmonella etc... Vet told us that dog's stomach are 5x more acid than human ones, and so killed most of them. On top of it, certain vegetables can be more "dangerous"/sensitive than others for dogs, sometimes it might vary from raw versus cooked.
Voilà, it is I'm any case, an interesting option for our 4 legged family members.
It does require some meal preparation organisation that takes a couple of weeks to get it all set up. Seems a lot at the beginning, but becomes so straightforward afterwards.
