Thank you, she appreciates it. Oddly the vet diagnosed her with cancer a year or two ago I’m beginning to think she was wrong. All I have her on is steroids and B-12 shots. Sometimes she misjudges jumps but cats can play that off like they were trying to do that on purpose.
Many sad stories from good people who gave their pets a good life. On a lighter note Mr Wally is not amused by having his photo taken.
Well noted, his eyes in their full glory. Well noted, it is hard to capture their real eye colour . Here is a couple that almost do it , with his brother Freddie.
Thank you for your interest , they are in fact Ragdolls, supposedly noted for their placidness/ cuddlyness. My two are the Nazi Commando version almost no Ragdoll charcteristics. They are both blue point mitted . The breed was developed in the US in the 60's. They can be large and muscular , very headstrong but entertaining as long as do what you are told !
My boy Charlie, black lab, 12 years old January gone. First two images shot on a Canon F-1, FD 50mm 3.5 Macro The final two were shot on an Olympus OM-1 with either a 35mm or 21mm OM lens. My memory fails me, but the FOV looks like a 35mm. Let’s see more pets!
As time goes by we are also starting to consider a cat, the good lady has been showing me pics. of one at a local rescue, looks beautiful and seemingly gets on fine with dogs. A big decision as we have never been owned by a cat.
We We had a boxer (like fraglerock’s). We loved her. She lasted nearly 14 years. Our little kitty cat showed up 6 years ago and near death. My wife caught me secretly feeding her. Now she sleeps with us. Our first cat. Waits for me at the door like the boxer did. Animals are fantastic! And they need us! Get the cat! The « before photo ». She was a « teen mom ». Pregnant when we brought her in to get spayed.
For those of us that have long haired cats this comb is very useful for removing the under coat. For my two Ragdols it has been a godsend during the Oz summer. Highly recommended, not cheap. I might add this comb should only be used 2/3 times a week.
