We took our princess (she's 10 years old) to the vet tonight, it's not looking good and it's doubtful that she will make it through the night.
I have everything crossed that she pulls through but I thought she was going to die in my arms earlier today, but she's a fighter.

Here she is in better health.

Gutted to hear that. Fingers and paws crossed here.

I'm very sorry to hear this. We lost one of ours a year ago and it was very hard, especially for the kids who had grown up with him, but they still speak of and remember him often, particularly via well-worn comic stories, and now he has passed into legend, as all great pets do. Enjoy the time you have and happy walking.

Here's our kitten, already past 10lbs with four 1/4 years of growing to go...

Is he a purebred? Maine Coon or however you spell it. 10lbs is pretty heavy for such a young cat. I know certain breeds can get much bigger than the traditional American domestic.
I live in a rural are and occasionally see bobcats, usually in pairs, walking in my yard. They look beautiful, easily to think it’s a regular cat until you hold your gaze and start seeing the muscle and larger size. I try to get picks but too far away for my phone and although they usually don’t mess with humans I don’t want to get too close.

Good luck to you. I’ve had a few on the brink but they bounced back with treatment

Update this morning is she made it through the night and has had some water. Last night she was so flat that the vet could not take any blood from her, but they have managed this now and an another update will come from the vet today with the blood test results, we're really hoping that she can home soon.

Fergus's morning routine.....nothing says love like eighty-five pounds of mutt snuggling on your pillow and snoring in ear.

I had to put my little boy to sleep last week, he stopped eating & drinking completely and was just so weak. I carried him to the vet & he went to sleep in my arms. How incredibly difficult it is to say goodbye...

I found him when he was 2 weeks old, crawling on his belly, snuffling for milk.

a little fireball, biting & refusing to be carried

But he was very quiet & would happily stay where we put him

I bottle fed him for 2 weeks & he bit the teats off 2 bottles, probably why he was abandoned.
He ambushed our ankles, and indiscriminately bit our toes, fingers & the other cats. To wake me, he bit the soft flesh on my palms with his little vampire teeth. He never held back when he bit, so he almost always drew blood.

How i wish he was here to bite me now...

At his prime, he weighed around 9kg

The cat on the right weighs 5kg,

Papa will see you again...

I tried to get a picture but failed. Yesterday I was walking through the house and saw a furry creature at my front door sitting where my cat sits when he wants to come in. I headed to the door to open it and saw it was a bobcat. We had a pretty big ice storm yesterday so he was probably just found the area gave him a little shelter from the storm. It was just odd how he sat looking in the glass around my front door. Last year I opened my sliding glass door for a raccoon looking in again thinking it was my cat.

Maybe you should set aside some of that "my next watch" money for an eye exam and a pair of glasses. LOL Wait, I might have a beat up watch I want to post for sale soon and you will think it is NOS. ;-)
