Come on Larry, get with the program. "Old Pal" and "Wee Man" refer to the senior and junior pack members, respectively. 😁

Don't make us assign you homework ... there are 5 years of posts spread out over 150 pages. 😉

Actually I think its "Old Boy".

He’s a right bugger with his walking. Won’t walk on the way out but as soon as you turn for home he’s like grease lightning

From where does this Wee man moniker originate?

Probably the Glasgow area and it has spread further afield.

Einstein the cat was found earlier today by my good friend, Rich. It seems kitty was lost yesterday by a guy on his way to the train (and, hopefully, a better opportunity in life in Edmonton, Alberta). He asked Rich, who simply happened to walking by after work, to help him find Einstein; apparently, the cat’s presence once saved the guy from suicide. They couldn’t find him and Einstein’s pa had to make his train. The guy gave Rich his number. Then he was gone.

Rich got up early today and soon found kitty hiding in a nearby construction site. He took the cat home. Not able to keep him (Rich and his wife already have a cat), I got the call this afternoon.

We’ve not had a feline in the apartment since Tommy died in 2012.

Notwithstanding a very stressful couple of days combined with yet another new space, this cat is surprisingly relaxed. Like his namesake, Einstein’s very inquisitive and he’s done the math: he’s concluded that this is a fine place to land.

We may have to give him up in a day or two - we aren’t sure. All that matters is he’s comfortable now.

It has been a while, ladies and gents.

I think I last posted here in Dec of last year. Had an eventful last 6-7 months. The owner of the company I work for passed away, new ownership, I got promoted, had a new offspring in May, got surgery on my knee done (tore meniscus playing tennis), and well everyone got a bit older (and wiser allegedly).

Here is Laina who turned one year old earlier this month. This is from this thread back when we got her (as a reminder since I haven't posted in so long).

Attaching some of her recent photos. She has grown! I'll post some pics of both the cats too but they are pretty much the same (attitude too, but they don't care) lol.

Anyway, great to see posts from some of the "seasoned" veteran posters here as well as some new ones. And best of all, seeing all pics of the furry friends!

Have a great Sunday folk!

Here is one the wife sent me yesterday. I flew to DC for work over the weekene and she took this as soon as I left for the airport. Laina stayed like this for an hour and wouldn't move from the door after I left. Thought that was very cute!
