Like, really bored...because nothing ever happens on these boring car trips...
But wait, who is this in the car with us on the way home?
"I'm not so sure about you."
"I'm not so sure about you either!"
And here they are at home. Remi and the newest member of the family, Maeve:
She is 4 years old, is a CKC Grand Champion, has had some puppies, and has finished her career, and has come to live with us in retirement. We are on a trial so we'll see how the next month goes, but based on how quickly she has settled in this afternoon (currently on the couch with a blanket, with Remi and my wife) I think she will be a permanent member of the family.
Hopefully Remi will find her to be as cuddly as Raven was...

I'm very happy for you and your family, especially Remy. They are so much happier with company.
I really want to see some video of those two loose in a big field with a few rabbits.

·Ginger would have been 13 today. A Chinese breed dog (Shih-Tzu), born on an Irish holiday, in Moody Missouri. A Chinese/Irish/Redneck. And she acted the part every day of her wonderful life. Most dogs have owners. Ginger had staff. My tattoo is a stylized image of her paw print. A 4-leaf clover because of her birthday. A dash of her ashes was in the ink so a part of her is with me forever.

·I made this tattoo appointment back in June when Chunky passed away and the day of the inking has finally arrived after nearly 9 months wait. Time to cover up this Huddersfield Town badge I had done when I was 17 nearly 26 years ago with a fitting tribute to my best friend.
