Very nice pieces....How long did it take to assemble the trio?
mine took about 5 years, though that wasn't constant work either. I could have got there a lot faster if I had tried harder...

the 2915 started off as a lark, just wanted to see what it would look like. then the 60th came out, and I thought, hey, might as well keep it together for the time being (rather than buy one of those).

the PAF resulted in a nice trip across the country and a good little hang with my brother.

but once those two were in the fold, I couldn't not get a Seamaster...

Well, I never thought I would get here, but I have finally put together a modest Omega Holy Trinity set, with some caveats. This is probably about as close as I will get.

But, it's not quite legit.

2915 is a collection of parts. I'm OK with that because I don't know if I'd wear a $100k+ watch on a normal basis. This one, I can wear with no fear.

Seamaster is allegedly a 165.014-62, but the movement number is earlier than expected for one, more appropriate for a 14755. An extract is on order, so we shall see. And obviously, it needs a bezel. I'm taking names for anyone that has one they'd sell, original or Aldo accepted.

Lastly, a Railmaster, but a PAF Railmaster which means it says Seamaster on the dial. As a PAF, it checks out . Numbers on the case and movement match the extract. So it will have to do for this set.

So, like I said, not quite a proper Holy Trinity set, but I'm OK with that.

Anyone care to share a real Trinity collection?

Beauties, all of them, and they must be really fun to wear.

@oddboy that is a great way to bring together the look of the Holy Trinity and the Railmaster itself is stunning. @gemini4 jealous does not even come close !

Ahhhh this thread is so refreshing! As opposed to “here is my newly acquired flawlesss (insert reference here)” ... not that there is anything wrong with that.. it’s just nice to see an appreciation for imperfection and works in process and the fun of collecting.
Totally with you.

A wonderful watch, is always a wonderful watch. And since he said immediately that it is his own ofcreation, there can't be any problem(but i'm sure that some hardcore collector is probably very unhappy.....).

"but …..it will have to do?" Well I think your PAF is pretty cool Mr @oddboy

Now a Railmaster, Seamaster (PAF) and a Flightmaster (FAP) would be a seriously cool trinity, trilogy, tri-somethingorother. Does anyone on OF have the Flightmaster version, I can't remember seeing one here?

Thank you sir! I didn't mean to demean the PAF, just noting that it's a Railmaster but says seamaster, so my trilogy is a little, odd...

And yes, there are some Flightmasters here.

Very nice trio! Perfect combination of vintage feel and wearability. Beats the re-edition by far!

Here’s my trinity

Ha, you called me out once for those same words. 😀

You should go for a Speedmaster Decades Collection.

well, well, well. Extract of Archives received for the SM300. As a few of the "seamaster bosses" cautioned, the movement number was a little low for a 165.014. Extract says it's a 14755.

When ordering the extract, I only included the movement number - i did not provide the case reference... so I guess this is about as close as it gets.

So now.... Anyone have a decent 14755 caseback they'd like to swap or sell? 😁

c'mon @oddboy, if you fix up the seamaster, you will then be forced to de-lark the speedmaster too (although that bezel ...) ... just enjoy and WIGH 👍

Oh, I will wear it (when it comes back from service)!

I'd still like to get it a bit closer though. The 2915-17 was a conscious choice.
