Answer came through the SWFG - Spaceflight Watches Facebook Group...
It's a Timex Electric ... Roger Chaffee's daily beater, which is now on display at the Kennedy Space Center Saturn V building
.
We can see Roger Chaffee's personal TIMEX Electric wristwatch... his trusty daily beater in many photos... too many photos.
Obviously in the April 1966 official Apollo 1 NASA crew portraits series...
As always more on MoonwatchUniverse blog 👍

I need another pair of eyes... but what do You see ?
It looks like a relaxing Apollo 17 geologist Harrison Schmitt took off his NASA-issued Speedmaster as it seems to be floating in lower right corner ?
Enhancement in upper right corner 😕

Yes, I concur. An interesting picture taken on the way back to earth; communications carrier off (lower left), watch off, a bit of food and then a shave...

January 29, 1998 ... French spationaute Léopold Eyharts, a Jaguar fighter pilot/Wing Commander in l'Armée de L'Air, flew on his first spaceflight mission during Soyuz TM-27 to the Russian Mir space station... he wore two watches at that time.
But it wasn't until ten years later, during his second spaceflight mission onboard space shuttle Atlantis, that we got a decent look at his yellow dial wristwatch, a Breitling Chronospace with the 1998 CNES Pégase mission logo on the dial 👍
You know what the other wristwatch is... another familiar Swiss chronograph be it manual winding version...

Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong cuts his birthday cake while in quarantine at NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center (now Johnson Space Center) in Houston, on Aug. 5, 1969 — 11 days after the Apollo 11 crew returned to Earth.
50 years ago... Omega & Rolex to the Moon onboard Apollo 14 Lunar Module "Antares"
Spaceflight aficionados know that on Apollo 14, the astronauts Mitchell and Roosa wore their personal Rolex GMT-master 1675 Pepsi pilot watch, besides their NASA-issued Omega Speedmaster chronograph. While their Omega Speedmaster was worn on a black velcro strap, both LMP Mitchell & CMP Roosa wore their Rolex GMT-master on a steel bracelet, an easy way to locate the watches in time-period photos.
The 1971 Apollo 14 was an interesting mission, which, after the Apollo 13 incident, got, a lot of interest...
MoonwatchUniverse dives deeper in the fun facts surrounding the Apollo 14 mission... such as astronauts' love for Rolex pilot watches, Lacoste shirts and the game of golf... even played on the Moon.
Photos show Hollywood actor Kirk Douglas & his family attenting the Apollo 14 launch in Florida... spot him in the crowd at left

Anyone who can help to identify the wristwatch worn by astronaut Edgar Mitchell during geology training in the Sonora desert in Northwest Mexico?
Looks like a simple small diameter dial wristwatch in distinctive colors... 😕

I still do not understand if the rotor will charge the movement or not?
Yes. The rotor does not rely on gravity to turn, even on earth. It is the motion of the arm that it is attached to which causes the rotor to turn. Arms can have motion in zero-gravity as well as on earth.
An article on the ArsTechnica web site reminds us that in the next few days we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first game of 1/6g golf. I think a golf-themed LE Moonwatch is in order, no?
I imagine someone might have better resolutions versions of these great photos from Gemini 9 - as we approach 55 years in June.
Amazing career and flight achievements Thomas Stafford had - and still with us at 90.
