Sorry for the double post, but looked a bit around for the buckle I have. According to billshaine's eBay product page, these are recently produced by Tag Heuer for their commemorative models. At least, it appears, they're not downright fakes.

I sold this 3647N with a Meister signature recently... Gone but will never be forgotten.

Technically this one could be called a Carrera even though the dial shows the watchmaking school of Solothurn. From what i understood, it was an end of studies project that featured the same case, dial and GF bracelet as the 1153S reference. Curiously, it also comes with a Hamilton Cal.12 which was correct and in concordance with similar examples found online. Pretty neat! 馃榾

Best regards, Stefan.
The black Meister is lovely, and the Solothurn must be one of a kind??

I have owned many Carreras, and sadly lost a number, but here are the two in my collection currently.

A few questions - Do you have a signed or unsigned crown?
And the caseback - slotted or polygon?

Agree with him - though also like the outer scale versions as well!

I think the scale versions are absolutely beautiful, the 3647T with the red tachy scale is a personal favorite of mine. (And I currently have a 2447NT too)
However, having had one I will say that it reduces the perceived size of the silver dial models fairly dramatically
