·Decided to let go some of the watches in my collection.
This watch is a cool reference from Heuer’s golden age, this (I beleve) first generation (Mark 1) Autavia GMT 2446C.
The honest 40mm case shows signs of use, dings, scratches, but with its lug chamfers remaining present, and appears to be unpolished. The original “Pepsi” bezel shows some wear and rounding around the edges and has faded to a charming pink and light blue coloration.
The matte black “reverse panda” Autavia GMT dial is in very good condition.
The tritium makers have achieved an attractive patina. This in combination with the bright red accents makes it a very appealing dial.
Underneath beats a Valjoux 72, probably the most storied chronograph calibre of all time.
Comes on a suede strap.
All functions work as they should. Chronograph starts, stops, and resets perfectly back to zero.
Price is 6500€.
Watch is shipped out of the Netherlands.
