·Looking to sell my vintage Heuer diver 980 013L. Quartz movement from the mid 1980s. Mid size case, 38mm.
The watch has acquired a very interesting and, to my eyes, pleasant dark hue to the lume from slight water ingress at some point in the past. There is a small crack in the second hand lume but all other lume is present and intact but has turned to a grey green colour. The darkened lume also no longer reacts to light, except for the bezel lume pip which is still bright and unaffected.
The watch was completely disassembled, checked over and rebuilt by my watchmaker two years ago and is working perfectly. New battery fitted last year.
The original Heuer bracelet is not full length and is a tightish fit on my 7 inch wrists. The bracelet has one original end link and one after market link purchased from Tag1000diver.
Simply not wearing this enough as I have an automatic Heuer 844 diver that gets more wrist time. Watch and I are in Melbourne Australia.
