Help with serial numbers

My pocket watch has one serial number on the case and another serial number on the movement. According to the dating chart, the case serial number has 1944 and the movement 1939 as years of production. Is this normal, or was the case or the movement replaced at some point?

Until the 1940s Omegas often had separate movement and case serial numbers. That is what is seen here. If I recall correctly, they work to different dates, so what you have there may tally with the same year, but bearing in mind it was wartime there may indeed have been delays.

The movement is from 1941 and the case probably from 1944
