Creating a new thread for this as I have updated photos.

I purchased this De Ville via an online watch dealer whose dealer said it is authentic, and I also got it authenticated. The dealer said it is likely late 70s or early 80s but that's all the info I have.

That being said, I am looking for any identification, dating, model number, and ballpark evaluation for this piece to get a better picture of what I bought. Also can anyone confirm via the photos if it has a gasket?

    Thank you!

Surely the sewer provided much of this info?

The model/ref number is inside the case back - 166.008.
The serial number should be on the movement which can be used to date it approximately. It’s not visible in your pics.
It has a gasket as seen in your pictures.

    You’re right, it’s a 165 not a 166 though.

And you can find the age of the watch from the movement number (8 digits) by googling Omega date codes
