    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone might help provide any info on the following watch: when it might have been manufactured, and whether it is likely to be gold or gold plated. The numbers on the back read "CG 13828".

    Thanks in advance!

Aye, thought so! Got interested in the numbers, but they don't appear to line up in any way with the reference numbers listed in the sticky-ed "Universal Geneve Information" thread.

    I’m guessing late 60s / 70s.

Given that UG's own in-house quartz, the calibre 74, didn't come out until Basel 1975 I would say that this one has to be later than that as a minimum. It's likely a re-badged ETA quartz so, if we could work out which one it is, we could possibly define further the date before which it couldn't have been made.
