Help to evaluate a Longines

Good morning everyone! I would like to get an opinion from those who are more knowledgeable than me regarding the authenticity of this Longines. I’m not very familiar with Longines watches, I'm actually looking for the first one to add to my collection. I know starting with black dial might be dangerous but I found this listed on eBay and whether I'll eventually pull the trigger or not it will be good to learn something about. I searched for similar references but couldn’t find anything with the same combination of dial and hands. that type of indexes and hands looks legit with the 9999 reference but not sure if the dial is legit and the case is fine or polished.

I like Longines but I can’t really help you with this one except to say that for whatever reason, Longines dials, in my experience, tend to wear very well and, on that basis, there is a good chance that this is an original dial 🤞

I second this. Case seemed to have indeed be slightly polished but nothing to deter the overall appeal of the watch.
