As the family watch nerd the heavy burden of finding a watch for my father-in-law has been placed in my slightly sweaty hands.

He's an architect, hates fussy dials, must be on a brown leather strap. Would probably be happy with a Braun or a Mondaine, but come on watchfam, we can do better than that right?

What do you suggest!?

I'd thought the same, however nothing seems quite 'clean' enough. Wrong kind of design language I think. The problem with looking for someone else is you get painfully close to buying another watch for yourself... I ordered a new Hamilton Khaki

edit : I am certain they will thrown in one of their excellent brown flieger straps, which really suite the watches (had two in the past!)...
