A couple of interesting Gold cases

These watch cases certainly won't be unique but I haven't been able to find any other examples or any information about them. They are contemporary with the Three Notch Longines I show for comparison. They were hallmarked in Glasgow for Veron Grauer & Company who were Agents who specialized in transporting high value goods, which doesn't really help me much.
These are heavy high quality cases and would have been a match for the likes of Rolex in their day.The flaptop has a Cortebert movement and poses another question, why one Swiss and One American?
Any thoughts regarding the case maker or the "watch manufacturer"or retailer would be appreciated.

Regards Harvey

David has done a great deal of research on the A5M and related watches and their links to Veron Grauer & Company. They were only acting as agents so this doesn't help me in my quest.
