I can't decide between these 2 watches. Which one do you like and why? Any reason to get one rather than the other?

Thank you!!

I don't really think you can go wrong....I like the black/white. Then you're not married to orange.

Perhaps it's just me, I'm wondering how the orange would "wear" on me long term. Thinking the GMT is a bit more neutral, could take on a totally different vibe depending on the strap choice, NATO, leather or bracelet, all will work. They are both classic, but ya gotta love orange a lot to love it every day. Maybe consider both?

I would always pick a PO over a Seamaster.

I think that orange really stands out. Maybe to much for some but unique and catches the eye.

Gotta agree there, getting away from cosmetics, the PO is a better movement in this instance.

The Seamaster GMT on the bottom is very flat and comfortable to wear. I own the 2254.50.00 and it is my favorite, though my new 57 Railmaster LE might be my new favorite. That bracelet is comfortable and can have an adjustable clasp added to it.

That Planet Ocean is very thick and I also dislike two arrow hands.

The Planet Ocean is my personal last choice.

The reason why I am trying to decide between these two is because I can get them in mint condition with papers for about $2000 and they both really great looking watches. Are there any others that you think I should consider? What is your favorite watch?

Not a fan of the orange, so the Seamaster would be my pick.

I've seen both in person. The PO looks better... But I also like orange colour on my hand. It's a matter of taste

I have the PO, standard though it has been modded with an Orange Bezel which I love. Actually loved is more apt, as it has faded somewhat in the past years. Admittedly, it was always my go to watch and I wore it even as a "beater," that is perhaps when I should have taken it off. I am not a fan of the Orange Numerals, though love the orange bezel, especially as I still have the original "black" bezel. Having said that, the red on Omega second hand tips always fade.. I use them as a "service dip stick." .Good luck.

If I was to buy a PO with a black bezel and bracelet, then which model would you recommend? The newer version 215.30.44.21.01.001?

Seamaster. Water resistance plus dual time zone with more wearable colors. Unless you already have other watches with black/silver motifs.
