Looks great, and very happy that you're happy with it.

For me, I have a really hard time calling it a "Moonwatch" if it isn't a standard reference with a hesalite crystal.

Not trying to be snobby, just how I feel.

Again, many congratulations on the acquisition. I hope the wife let's you grow your collection so we may be fortunate to see your future posts!

Yeah, I was curious about that. Omegas product sheet says Moonwatch, but it has the extra movement and sapphire sandwich. Also says this in the back, but I hear your point. Not by purists standards. A big reason I got this watch was because I need the date, but love the standard Moonwatch.

Resurrecting this thread but congrats on the watch. I am currently hunting for a 3576.50.00 as well. I always have wanted a speedy pro with a date and it seems the 3576.50.00 is the ticket. But they have been so hard to track down.

Thanks to everyone for all of their help and advice. Today I received my first Omega watch, got it sized, and I couldn't be happier. It is a Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch with Moonphase (3576.50).

How do you like it so far?

Sorry this is such a delayed reply. I absolutely love it. I have worn it almost every day - it is incredibly versatile, has stood up to me having a 1-year old, and before the pandemic it got a ton of compliments for being subtle but very nice. It’s always fun to run into Omega fans that haven’t seen this moon phase, a lot of them like it better than the current moonphase watches omega offers.

You hit it outta the park; going straight for the moonphase version. It's on my list too, and I suspect it will end up being a keeper for you. I mean, which Speedy Pro isn't? 😁
