A bit of background to yourself and how you came by the watch would be a nice intro.

Otherwise - Classic cross-hair sun-burst dome dial, onyx inserts, with dauphine hands, in a dogleg case.
All seems absolutely correct.
Date magnifier crystal was a special order item.

Hope that helps.

Sorry im new to the Forum and dont know how to properly carry out the post!
I am a Seiko Collector/Dealer and naturally come across many many nice Omega watches from my connections. This stood out to me and i decided to go for it as its in quite good condition and serviced. I am very glad to read that its all correct!
Thank you so much

Was anyone else confused by the caseback sticker? My first thought was 'fake case'. Why would a seller leave that on? Maybe to hide a crappy caseback. Or it could be pristine but how to tell?

I have to confess that it had me confused as well to begin with.
I took it that the OP now owns the watch and might have put the sticker over the medallion.

Looking through the ‘fog’, as best I could, the stars seem to be ok.

Thats my bad. I sell a lot of King Seiko/ Grand Seiko and those usually come with a golden medallion in the back which make direct contact with the hand. This could lead to discolouration and patina of the medalliom/ gold back so i usually put a sticker above it to avoid direct contact when wearing. As for most seller, i assume it would be the same reason or trying to make it looks more professional.

I recall seeing a pristine KS caseback being a thing, but when it comes to Omega's, 90%+ of the casebacks made it and I don't think there is any reason to protect them, they last the lifetime of the watch

To be honest when I saw the caseback, I assumed it was sandblasted 😀

Hi guys,

I got a hold of a Omega Cross Hair Constellation.
Is the hands, dial and case correct?
Dial is original most likely but i can seem to find it on the case and with those particular hands.

Thanks for the helps!
everything correct. it should be a 168005 crosshair flat dial

There’s something about that case I don’t like. Dog legs seem too thick, wrong angle, and they seem to jut out from the case more than they should. I suspect it is a fake, but I’d like to see the caseback without the sticker to confirm.

In my opinion everything correct. Just the zoom of the photo. Obviously the caseback also will help.
