Help in finding model number of vintage Omega

Hello all,
I received this watch as part of a trade and I am wondering what model caliber it might be. I have seen a similar watch on the web but it has drilled lugs and mine doesn’t. The cross hair second sub dial also appears rare. I also have seen similar watches on the web but their diameter is 36mm and mine is 35mm. I am very confused and any help would be greatly appreciated.
The closest I can guess is a:
OMEGA Classic Ref. 2890-2 Caliber 266 36mm 1954c

If indeed is a genuine vintage Omega would $350. be a reasonable price for the unit?

I should also mention that the watch keeps time at plus or minus 10 seconds per day and takes 20 turns of the crown to fully wind the mechanism.

You'll have to open it up. Otherwise we are all just making educated guesses.

The proper way to determine the reference and caliber is to open the watch and look inside. Even if someone recognizes the shape of the case, there is no way to verify that it is correct and original without those photos.

"Swiss Made" is bonkers, the dial is the face of the fair lady, the minute and hour hands are wrong.
So I feel we are looking at parts.

There is obviously damage around the outer edge, so SWISS MADE may have been repainted. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that the dial is completely repainted, and I certainly wouldn't assume anything worse. But photos are necessary.

Hi Dan,
Once a deviant from leaving the factory, ...a deviant.
While not completely unoriginal, it still hurts. I wish they hadn't tried.

pics of the movement?
Thanks guys for your helpful knowledge. I’m now so ticked off it is a fake like Uncle Buck infers I’m going to toss it in the Pacific Ocean here in Victoria, BC.
I just don’t understand why it runs so well, though.

I would need to see inside to know for sure, but I think the dial might be original, but harshly cleaned.

“Swiss Made” is in right place, more or less. Movement could be later caliber 268 or 269, which had this type of subdial.

Think we need more information before bringing out the tar and feathers.

Not fake at all, but it's not a ref 2890.

I honestly don't think the dial is refinished, perhaps the SWISS MADE has been redone but not the rest of it, as noted.

I found this just doing a quick google, reference 2750 cal 266, with same dial and hands.

Thank you for the replies. I thought I would add 3 photos taken from the web. These photos represent the exact colour of the dial on my Omega. My photos make the dial appear much more white. Just thought I’d throw that in. Original pics were taken by my iPhone.
Take care,
Michael

That’s nice to hear. I don’t feel so sick to my tummy anymore.
Tomorrow I will take it to my watchmaker to open the caseback and I will take some pictures of the movement and inside the case back.
I feel very humbled to converse with you gentlemen. Thank you for your time.
Michael
