Help identifying case back gasket

Caliper 1370. Changed the battery myself for the first time and would like to change the gasket in the future. When I peeled it out of the watch and put it around the case back edge it was loose. But it does seem to fit nicely into a groove in the back of the watch. Not sure if that is on purpose? It was replaced by omega in Switzerland 2 1/2 years ago so I assume it is correct. Maybe it just stretched from being pushed into the back?

The recess cut into the edge of the case is intended for the gasket to be inserted as shown in your one picture. Silicone grease should be applied to the gasket before you fit the case back again. Can’t help you with a part # or a source for a genuine gasket.

Just measure the inside diameter of the case groove and the diameter of the gasket.
Then just use a generic Viton or Buna O-ring.
Exactly the same as an OEM and much cheaper.

Thank you! Was this information published anywhere? Also when I search that part number really nothing comes up. Can I just use those dimensions and get a generic? I assume those are outer diameter, inner diameter and thickness

Did you consider @JimInOz's advice above?
Of course but now it seems I have the genuine information/dimensions without opening it up again. Just can’t seem to find any info on that

Archer is an Omega certified watchmaker, I don't think you're likely to get a more succinct answer.

Absolutely! I just can’t seem to find a source to purchase them anywhere and the generic gaskets don’t have those exact dimensions

This is not publicly available information, so I looked it up on the Omega Extranet for you.

Yes those are the dimensions. Unfortunately sometimes companies use seals that are specific to their cases, so you might not get an exact 100% match.

I don’t know where you would find this on the open market, but I would start by checking with various watch material suppliers. Note that you may need to contact them, because most of these companies do not list all their inventory on their web sites...

Thank you for the information!. I will see what I can find by that I imagine I may just end up going with the 29 mm generic gasket and see if that fits.
