I bought the above watch I sent! 😅😱 yay. If I could ask one last question (sorry) - where is recommended to get a new strap? I looked at the Omega website and theirs are almost as much as the watch itself haha. Is on here fine / does the strap really matter? I get the vibe it isn’t as big of a deal

The strap is fine, but if you want something different, go on Etsy/etc. Plenty of folks make straps to order.

To reassure you on wrist size: I am 185cm (6', 1") and have an average size wrist, 18cm around (7"). I have watches that vary in size from 35mm up to 41mm. They all look good and all feel perfectly fine on the wrist. But I usually prefer the smaller watches😀

Dial diameter often doesn't tell the full story anyway. Lots of smaller vintage watches still have a very strong "wrist presence". The lugs and other design elements will also affect how a watch sits on the wrist.

You've picked a great watch for your husband. It will look fantastic and he will love it.

Awesome. He's going to love such a thoughtful gift and the effort you put in to finding it.

As a previous customer of Sneers, I can say that you won't be disappointed.
He was a gent to deal with and my watch arrived promptly and in good condition.
Sneer is one of a very few collectors that I read every advert they post, regardless of what the watch is. I think we have very similar taste.
What I don't understand is where he gets his watches from. Most of the stuff he sell on looks superb.
