Help deciding in my first vintage watch

I tend to wear my 2013 AT for everyday, and I have 5 or 6 vintage Omegas that are serviced with service crowns which I also wear frequently. The original crown vintage ones get sparing wear- I enjoy having them in the collection but I've had several vintage fog up on hot sweaty day (crown ingress I'm sure) and one when I went from warm house on cold snowy day into the car. So I tend to be a bit careful with the "unserviced" lot.

I've also never bought a watch on C24. Not because there is anything wrong with the platform, but for some reason it mainly attracts sellers who post deceptive listings, absurd prices, or both. I assume there are some exceptions if you're willing to hunt through all the junk.
I generally agree but have found a few, mostly Japanese, sellers on C24 with good inventory and fair prices. Fair amount of Omega, and lots of Seiko, GS, KS etc.

Having said that, my very first vintage purchase was on C24 and it was a complete fake, but luckily it was a Seiko Turtle (or so I thought) so the noob tax was small. And the seller disclosed it was AM parts, I just did not pay attention....
