Hello have this older constellation. Second hand running fine but minute and hour not moving. Sometimes after I set the date it will run but I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong. Is there a quick date change on this model I’ve run it all the way around to set the date minutes will move till it hits twelve. I’m hoping this can be remedied with a normal service without having to order new parts but I know a few things can cause this.? What is the proper way to set the date on this, probably not the issue it but at least the seconds are running find

Sounds like the cannon pinion is too loose. Have it tightened, I guess.

Mid-‘60s cal 561 - wind through midnight, back to 9, forward to 12 again)
Slightly later cal 564 - adjust hands to 6.30 pull crown out one more time, date will change.
Try the 561 option first so that your not trying to rip the stem out.

I agree, exactly what was wrong with mine... A proper service should remedy that.
Good luck.
