Don’t know what your going on about with 7750 comments but it is a well known solid movement. Mentioned on the first page also.

Several people suggested I hold off and get the 861 or 1861 I already said I’ve read the 7750 is a well made movement I was merely looking for clarification as to why people suggested that but maybe you didn’t read that. I read everything archer wrote about of already

My suggestion had nothing to do with the movement. It was more about the 'total package'.

Well thank you, that was all I was looking for, it came across as the movement to me so I was just trying to clarify although I must say the more I read about the 7750 the more impressed I am by total package I assume you mean looks and layout I need to look more into that now, sometimes there are just too many choices in watches. Someone offered me a very nice Zenith in trade on another site but I am hesitant to make any trade deals with an individual it was a beautiful limited Zenith though

No problem in the us prickmanship is penmanship. It was a simple question about the movement I wasn’t going on about it I think I asked twice for clarification to those who suggested it

@Walrus you clearly want the watch and it's a huge upgrade (stylistically) from the Cellini...I say do it, pull the trigger and get that thing on your wrist. The 7750 is a tank of a movement-- very serviceable, consistent-- you'll have no regrets.

Damn I just realized I have 46 posts in this thread about one watch I’m indecisive about. Does that make me selfish. It’s really more confused than selfish and I did receive the shipping label and will send my watch in but these things do create angst.
