These are poor pics I know I prob won’t be able to get more until later in the week but I need a little feedback if anyone can tell by the poor photos included

What I’m wondering is if paying 2400 us with box and papers for this seems ok.

Sorry if duplicate photos. A good amount of this price will be trading my Cellini

At that price I would spend just slightly more and go for a Speedmaster with a Cal 1861

i hear you but since it’s a trade with my Cellini gold quartz and I’m trying to keep my cost down it’s turning out to be an almost even trade. I’m not getiing exactly what I want but do you think it’s a watch I should stay away from for any reason. You can’t always get what you want. It’ll also have a 15 month warranty unless I drop it

Looking around Chrono24 etc gives you a good idea of used prices. That price seems good. Jomashop also has a 3513.5 for around $2350

Thanks ya I’m in a little bit more of a tight spot as I want to use my Cellini to cover most of the cost. Won’t go into the reasons why as it’s a long story but I think if I pull this off lll be pleased. Are there issues with this movement

No problem! Everyone has their reasoning. Regarding the movement, I believe this particular model uses a variation of a Valjoux 7750, which is a very common, solid, and reliable chronograph movement. There are other Speedmaster "Reduced" models that use an ETA base movement with a chronograph module on top. Those tend to be quite expensive to service so I would avoid them.

Ok so that is a good sign. It’s also coming from one of the larger internet buyers sellers who’s name I forget. It’s not a done deal. They quote you a price on your watch but that can change on inspection, you know how that goes, but the guy was convinced he could stay in the 2k range. I never wear the Cellini so it would be great to have a watch I could wear more often. A speedy has been my goal although I was open to an aqua terra or any decent omega. I hope if I can make this happen. If not I still have another option or two but at the moment this appears to be the best one in front of me.

Nice! The speedy should definitely be a bit more versatile!

Yes definitely I bought this watch when I bought mywife her ring. Sometimes I get mad I bought a quartz but I do really like the look of the Cellini. Problem is how often can you wear a gold watch, well for me anyway. A speedy will be much more practical so I just need to hope they don’t change the price too much upon inspection. I sent the 16 pictures until they told me to stop

Yes the Cellini is involved in the trade but I still need to cough up a few bucks so I’m regards to the watches you just put up they are a better financial deal

Yes, they are, Walrus, and they come up quite often in that price range. Might be worth considering the separation of the Cellini sale from the Speedy purchase?

Cheers,

Winny

I hear you but selling a quartz Cellini is not an easy thing to do. I made a pledge not to sell it her as even posting it to ask questions I have gotten negative comments. I guess I’ll follow through with this one see how it works out no harm no foul

Don't be afraid of negative comments... who cares what other people think. I was surprised to see a G-shock for sale here, but whatever sellers want to do as long as it's within the rules. Quartz has some advantages for a dress watch that you only wear once in a while, and the Cellini isn't a bad watch at all for someone who's in the market.
