Stumbled onto this thread while looking at a similar eBay watch https://www.ebay.com/itm/393330357641

Some 168.017's have tiny SWISS MADE's, while, most of them like this watch, has regular sized SWISS MADE's

The MOY's vary too, I'd bet this watch is genuine, but I wouldn't bet on OP's, but I'd marked genuine for it too

Sadly this eBay watch is kinda freaky other than the dial, the crown is funky, the case has a weird polish etc.

Opinions?

It is a lot of work to just add cross hairs...you have to remove a lot of hardware from the front, apply the lines and then re-install everything you took off....and in so doing you risk damaging/delaminating the dial varnish. I imagine its too much work to do unless the whole dial is being refinished. That being said, I think the lines are impressively fine...thickish cross hairs are often a give-away on a refinished dial. I think this is a tough call.

Never seen one with a crosshair before I would be wary. I believe the crown is also incorrect for that reference, as a side point to the dial question!
