Has anybody put a 1171 braclet on a Seamaster Cosmic?

I just purchased a Seamaster Cosmic ref. 166.026 from a member on OF and I am thinking of putting a Uncle Seiko 1171 bracelet on it with the 19mm links. I searched for and found a photo of the 523 end links that would have come on the Cosmic BOR, and the shape seems pretty similar to the 19mm links for the 1171. Please look at the photos below of the Cosmic, 523 end links, and the end links from the listing for the 1171 homage bracelet. I have three watches on BOR bracelets and I am looking for something different for this watch. None of the photos are mine, but all are from this site or eBay. Hopefully that is ok.

Has anyone put a 1171 on a Cosmic 166.026?
Does anybody know a reason it would not work?

The bracelet almost the same price as the head, am I remember it correctly.

The Uncle Seiko 1171 is $95.00. If I went with the BOR and correct end links it would have been the same price as the head.

The Cosmic end-links are unique in their back side shape.

Thank you @X350 XJR. I can see that now on the photo of the 523 link. I should probably grab the links as they appear to be pretty hard to find and wait until a reasonably priced 1068 bracelet comes around.

I don't believe an 1171 will fit that type of Cosmic. I think it's an 1125 you need instead

Bracelets for the 166.0(0)26 are: 1068/523, 1098/526, 1125/636, 1172/579.
As mentioned before, the 1125 is closest to a 1171.

It took me a while to get this bracelet fitted, but here are photos.
