Who would have thought that such a slight tilt in our earth’s axis could make such a big difference in our lives, but here we go again.
The big wheel keeps on turning and here we are again looking into the sweet face of darkness.
Now the day is over, night is drawing nigh, shadows of the evening steal across the sky (from a gospel hymn).
Well, our collective Mid Summer Night’s Dream is long ended. My pupils are dilated wide.
This is the season that we are celebrating a solstice, along with a cultural and religious holiday and the new beginnings of a year. I wish you all best and happiest during this season.
Here in Anchorage, Alaska I am waiting for sunrise yet to come at 10:14 am. Meanwhile, almost 300 miles north in Fairbanks, @impalla62ss will be waiting for another 38 minutes.
