This day is the one I am desperately waiting for, from the moment where I can feel daylight time shortening.
Due to katabatic "chinook" winds overnight, I awoke to 50 degrees F (~10C) at 6am this morning. Definitely not wintry, although these are common winter conditions here in the rain shadow of the Rocky Mountains. Looking forward to longer days for sure.
I don't mind the cold or the snow that much. The darkness on the other hand, is the worst part of the season.
